Using marketing content to minimise the impact of COVID-19 on revenue

With the current world wide crisis situation around Covid-19, business has changed for a lot of us and we have to consider the power of marketing content to minimise business risks. I have been wondering how very specialised consulting businesses can go about doing work online and outside of their physical borders in order to minimise impact on lost business revenues.
Marketing content strategy
In other words, as a consulting business we need to think marketing and more specifically aricles, blogs, posts, videos etc. Unfortunately using marketing content to de-risk your consulting business is not a quick fix and needs time to work. In other words there is no question that marketing content should be part of any entrepreneur’s business strategy.
What is the issue for most consulting businesses around content though?
Firstly, the your business domain area is very specialised and your content has to be written by an expert. Secondly, your consulting experts are already super busy and content creation is time extensive. Thirdly, hiring an external expert with no background in the subject matter is hard and often ineffective. Lastly, generating articles, blogs, videos etc for the sake of generating content just wastes time and money.
Therefore, we need to consider the following in order to get content activities to work for you?
The marketing copy, for instance has to:
- Be Superbly frequent
- Have superb SEO
- Be Superbly targeted
Produce on par marketing content
- Know what your existing customers and new customers are looking for online that helps them solve a problem or answer their questions
- Have a content strategy that aligns with what your customers are looking for
- Add superbly frequent marketing content, superbly targeted to your site and the content has to have superb SEO: Over 50 pages per month.
